The Repair Shop has shared an update about the new series, and fans can’t wait.
The Repair Shop has excited fans with a major series announcement. Sharing a first look at promotional snaps of the experts standing outside the iconic bar on Instagram, the show wrote, “Back in the barn for a brand new series! All new episodes of #TheRepairShop start Wednesday 28th January at 8pm on BBC One and #iPlayer.”
Fans were thrilled by the update, and many rushed to the comment section to share their excitement. One wrote, “Best show on TV EVER!!” Another commented, “Oo lovely, a definite feel good program even if my eyes leak regularly.”
While a third added, “Great photos, such lovely people.” Someone else went on, “I cannot wait!!! You are all amazing!!! My favourite program.”
“OMGoodness! All my favorites! Yay,” one fan beamed.

Eagle-eyed fans also spotted Dominic Chinea in the line-up after many feared the expert was leaving. One fan wrote on a fan page, “Looks like Dom is still with them. Thought he was leaving?”
Another exhoed, “I thought Dom was not going to be there.”
Others noticed another addition to the cast, with one noting, “Nice to see Fred, Steve’s son, on there too.”
Some fans also noticed that the Teddy Bear Ladies were not in the promotional photos, with many asking the same question, “Where’s the Teddy Bear Ladies? No photo of them.”

It seems filming for the new series didn’t end that long ago, as expert Sonnaz Nooranvary announced her last day of filming in December.
She wrote, “And that’s a wrap for @therepairshoptv 2025. What a year. Fab to finish up with @christophershawbookbinder and the brilliant crew on location this week, ide say you can’t tell where we are from those photos?
“I’ve been trying to find photos I can show you and not give away items that haven’t been aired yet, but stumbled across some archive photos from waaaay back, including a couple from a portrait shoot in the barn, which you’ve never seen! These didn’t make the Final Cut, im almost a decade younger there!”
She added, “I’m really looking forward to you seeing what’s been filmed, and here’s to TRS 2026.”
