Stella Mickunaite has shared the details of her split from Filip Gregov a few weeks shy of their one-year anniversary.
The Married At First Sight bride, 32, who left the 2026 experiment engaged to the carpenter, 37, revealed on Tuesday that Filip dumped her during a phone call.
She made the shocking admission in a lengthy message she shared to her Instagram Stories, saying she was ‘completely blindsided’ by the split.
‘I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I feel it’s important to share my truth. Filip ended our relationship,’ she began.

‘While he had clearly been processing that decision for some time, I genuinely believed we were working towards the same future.
‘I was completely blindsided. One thing I do want to clarify is that, despite what was shown on the show, I had made the decision to move to Melbourne.’

Stella, who is based in Sydney, said she spent months preparing for her move to Melbourne, where Filip lives, saying that relocation was best for their relationship.
‘It offered more family support, better work opportunities for Filip and a more affordable place for us to build a life together,’ she wrote.
‘I’ve always been realistic about my biological clock, and starting a family has been something I’ve hoped for a long time.
MAFS’ Stella and Filip get fairy tale ending at Final Vows
‘I genuinely thought we were making those decisions together. Instead, I received a phone call ending our relationship.’
Stella went on to say she was ‘heartbroken, deeply saddened and, if I’m being honest, incredibly embarrassed’ that their relationship didn’t ‘work out’.
‘While I respect that everyone has the right to choose what’s best for them, I also feel it’s important that the facts are clear,’ she said.
‘Thank you to everyone who has shown me kindness and support. It has meant more than you’ll ever know.’
It comes after Daily Mail exclusively revealed Stella and Filip had quietly split, despite being one of the biggest success stories to come out of MAFS this year.
