Katie Price trolled and accused of being ‘in on’ Lee Andrews’ ‘disappearance’ as fans rage ‘it’s a publicity stunt’
KATIE Price’s ‘kidnapping’ plea over a disappearing Lee Andrews has vexed followers who have claimed it’s a ‘scam’.
According to Katie, 47, a missing person report has been filed for her new husband who has vanished.
The mum-of-five, who wed him in January, has spoken out about fears he has been kidnapped after not hearing from him for five days.
However, followers remain unconvinced that the story is genuine and believe it’s been fabricated to suit her.
In her latest podcast episode, a worried Katie said: “Obviously, everyone has their thoughts on everything, but at the end of the day I am married to Lee.
“He is my husband and I am experiencing these feelings and I’m just really, really, really, really worried.

“I just hope he hasn’t been kidnapped. The fact that he’s read my messages, you have to give a pin to a phone…
“I’ve now got all these thoughts going on in my mind, that he’s being tortured.
“Have they forced him to go through his phone to look at my messages. I don’t know, my head’s all like this at the minute.
“I hope we find him soon and have some explanations and if he has been arrested, really has been arrested – even I’ve been told they can’t find him anywhere – I just want to know it’s all right and he’s all right, and what he’s been arrested for.”

Fans commented in their droves, including fellow former glamour model Rhian Sugden who piped in: “RIGHT. Who’s joining me on a manhunt to find Lee Andrews?
“I’m way too invested in this now. The lies, the drama, the ‘kidnapped’ storyline… it’s actually unfair on her at this point.
“Someone point me in the direction of this man before I personally drag him back to the UK in a balaclava – no filters included.”
A second echoed: “Two words – publicity stunt…”
“Does anyone actually believe this?” asked a third.
“This is actually so ridiculous. It’s gone from being hilarious to very boring now. If you were that concerned about your husband you wouldn’t be posting a bl**dy YouTube link to find out more.
“I really thought this was all just Katie being naive but it’s becoming more and more obvious that she’s in on this whole sham,” a fourth vented.
“It’s all fake to earn money off the clicks and our interest!!! They are laughing at us all the way to the bank!” claimed a fifth.
“She almost looks like she’s laughing inside. I could be wrong but yeah,” noted another.
“Anyone else waiting for a fake ransom asking for money to ‘release him’?” pondered a user.
“If it is a publicity stunt they should both be arrested, not something people should make fun of or take lightly,” penned an angry follower.
“The whole thing is a publicity stunt, her family is in on it too because they will get coin,” claimed another.
Others agreed: “To me now these feels like a massive publicity stunt,” and, “100%. She’s just profiting off of this nonsense.”
Further users doubled down: “All seems like a huge publicity stunt.”
It’s thought an official report has been lodged by his family at the British Embassy in Dubai, where Lee, 43, lives after he was last seen at the airport last week.
The trouble began when Lee was due to appear with Katie on ITV’s Good Morning Britain last week — but did not turn up.
Lee then told Katie in a voicenote that he needed an “exit stamp” to leave Dubai.
She last spoke to him on Wednesday when she says he had “ties around his hand and was in a van”.
At the weekend, Katie said: “I know there is all this speculation but something really serious has happened.”
