Today host Sarah Abo gives birth to a baby boy
Today host Sarah Abo has given birth to a baby boy named Sonny, after departing the show early on maternity leave.
This is Abo’s first child with her husband, Cyrus Moran. Abo announced her pregnancy on Wednesday, March 11, on Today.

Abo was originally meant to go on maternity leave in August 2026, however, on July 15, she announced that she had departed the show early due to health complications related to her pregnancy.
