Brooke Warne has found herself surrounded by some very big life milestones lately — and her latest celebration has offered another glimpse into the chapter she is now stepping into.
The 29-year-old daughter of the late Australian cricket great Shane Warne recently joined close friends for the baby shower of Chloe Harris, proudly embracing her role as an “aunty” as the group celebrated the arrival of a new baby.
But there was something quietly significant about the moment.
It comes only months after Brooke announced her engagement to longtime partner Alex Heath and as the couple continue building a life of their own.

A special day for Brooke’s close friend
Brooke shared a series of photographs from Chloe Harris’ baby shower on Instagram Stories, including a sweet image of herself holding up a tiny onesie.
She captioned one series of Polaroid-style photographs simply:
“Baby Harris.”
In another photo, Brooke posed with Chloe and two other friends, with the group dressed in coordinated neutral tones.
Her message was just as affectionate:
“Your 4 crazy aunty’s can’t wait to meet you.”
The photographs offered a warm glimpse of Brooke celebrating an important moment in the life of someone close to her.
And while the event was about Chloe and her baby, the timing inevitably gives Brooke’s own life a little extra context.
Brooke is already entering a major new chapter
In July, Brooke revealed that she and Alex Heath were engaged after years together.
The couple shared photographs from their holiday in the United States, including the moment Alex proposed, with Brooke showing off her engagement ring.
Brooke captioned the announcement:
“It was always us.”
Her mother, Simone Callahan, responded with an emotional message and pointed to a rainbow appearing above the couple in the engagement photographs as a possible sign from Shane.
Brooke’s brother Jackson joked that he now had a brother, while her sister Summer also celebrated the engagement.
For Brooke, it was one of the biggest personal milestones since her father’s de*ath.
The man who will not be there on her wedding day

The happiness of an engagement has also carried a painful undercurrent.
Shane Warne died suddenly in Thailand in March 2022, aged 52. A post-mortem confirmed his death was from natural causes, with Thai authorities reporting the death as a suspected heart attack.
When Brooke became engaged, the absence of her father naturally became part of the emotional story surrounding the milestone.
A source previously told New Idea that the Warne children continue to miss their father and that one particularly difficult part of Brooke’s wedding journey will be knowing Shane cannot walk her down the aisle.
At the same time, the source suggested Brooke understands that her father would want her to embrace the happiness in front of her rather than hold herself back.
That tension — joy alongside grief — has become a recurring part of the family’s life since Shane’s death.
From engagement to a growing little family
Brooke’s life with Alex has also been taking on new shape in smaller ways.
At the end of August, the couple announced that their household was getting bigger — although not with a baby.
They welcomed two dogs, Winnie and Lulu, sharing a photograph with the caption:
“And then there were 4.”
For a couple preparing for marriage, it was another small but meaningful step in building a shared home and life.
And now Brooke is spending time celebrating a friend’s baby, surrounded by people she loves.
Taken together, the moments paint a picture of someone moving steadily into adulthood and family life of her own.
A very different kind of family story
The baby shower also carries another layer of meaning because Brooke has spoken openly over the years about how important family remains to her.
She is Shane and Simone Callahan’s eldest child, with younger siblings Jackson and Summer. All three have continued to honour their father publicly since his death.
Brooke has often shared memories of Shane on birthdays and important family occasions, keeping his presence part of their lives even though he is no longer there physically.
That makes milestones such as an engagement, a wedding and now the arrival of a friend’s baby particularly poignant.
They are reminders of the passage of time.
And also of the person who would have been part of those moments.
Her father’s memory remains close
After Shane died, Brooke wrote an emotional tribute describing how unreal his absence felt and how much she treasured their final memories together.
Since then, she and her siblings have continued to mark his birthdays and other important dates.
In September 2025, Brooke shared a collection of home videos of Shane for what would have been his 56th birthday, including memories of him with his children.
More recently, Brooke and her siblings came together around what would have been another birthday for their father, turning what was intended as a sentimental video into a much more playful family moment.
Brooke joked that they had tried to make a serious birthday tribute but “none of you can take things seriously and we are all nuts.”
It is a detail that says a lot about the way the family appears to remember Shane: with emotion, but also with humour.
The baby shower does not mean what some may assume
For all the talk around Brooke having “babies on the brain”, there is no announcement that she is expecting a child herself.
The photographs were from her friend Chloe’s baby shower, and Brooke’s own words were focused on being excited to meet Baby Harris.
The significance lies elsewhere.
She is engaged.
She is building a home with Alex.
She has recently expanded their household with two dogs.
And she is increasingly surrounded by friends who are entering new stages of family life.
For Brooke, the latest celebration may therefore be less about what is happening immediately and more about the world she is gradually moving into.
A new chapter with a familiar face still missing
That is perhaps what makes the latest photographs so bittersweet.
Brooke was smiling.
She was celebrating.
She was looking ahead.
And yet the biggest milestones in her life still come with the knowledge that Shane will not physically be there to witness them.
Her engagement announcement already carried that emotional contrast.
Now, watching a close friend prepare to welcome a baby brings another reminder of how quickly life changes.
People grow up.
Families expand.
New memories are made.
And some loved ones remain present only through the memories they left behind.
Brooke is building the future in her own way
There is no indication that Brooke’s baby-shower appearance was intended as a message about her own plans.
What it does show is a young woman increasingly surrounded by the rituals of adult life — marriage, home, family and the people she chooses to keep close.
For someone who lost her father so suddenly at a relatively young age, those moments inevitably carry an extra emotional layer.
But Brooke has continued to move forward.
She and Alex are planning their wedding.
Their home now includes Winnie and Lulu.
Her friends are starting families of their own.
And through it all, Shane’s memory remains woven into the milestones.
Perhaps that is the most telling detail of all.
Brooke is not leaving her past behind.
She is carrying it with her into whatever comes next. ❤️
