A Kyle and Jackie O Show senior staffer has confirmed her engagement to her long-time partner Kane Baker.
Executive Producer Nat Penfold shared a gallery of photos to social media on Sunday, which captured the newly engaged couple beaming after their oceanside proposal, where Kane got down on one knee.
The radio veteran, who worked on the axed KIIS FM breakfast show from November 2022 until its cancellation in March as both a producer and announcer, looked radiant as she tenderly embraced her new fiancé.
She also showcased her stunning engagement ring, which features a prominent diamond set on a gold band.
‘Future Mrs Baker. The best early birthday present from the love of my life,’ she captioned the post.
Many of Nat’s celebrity friends took to the comments section to offer their well wishes – including her very high-profile former co-star.
‘OMG,’ gushed Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, adding a love heart and applause emoji.
‘This is wild!!! CONGRATULATIONS,’ added Kyle and Jackie O veteran Brooklyn Ross.
Meanwhile, KIIS FM alum Mitch Churi wrote: ‘The jumping!!!!!!! Congrats you two so so beyond happy for you.’
It follows reports that Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is ‘done’ with Kyle Sandilands, according to a radio insider.
While Kyle still has hope that the pair may reconcile, a source told the Daily Telegraph last week that the former radio queen has her eyes set on new horizons.
‘Kyle and Bruno still talk to all of us, it’s like they think everyone’s eventually getting the band back together,’ the source alleged.
‘Jackie has checked out. It’s a dead stop,’ they added.
A second insider says that Jackie has decided, ‘I don’t need this anymore,’ and is ‘very happy and content’ with her decision.
The insider added that Jackie is ‘financially independent’ and unaffected by the loss of her $100million contract.
It follows earlier reports that Jackie struggled with the glamorous ‘hot blonde’ image crafted around her by executives and publicists.
‘ARN, the publicists, marketing teams, these people were shaping, making her image. None of it was actually her,’ a source told The Daily Telegraph.
‘She didn’t want to go to all the parties. She just went along with it because it was important for her to be seen as younger.’
In recent years, Jackie’s focus has shifted heavily toward wellness, spirituality and personal growth – themes she explored through the Her Best Life podcast with best friend Gemma O’Neill.
Friends say the podcast reflects the ‘real’ Jackie away from the microphones and manufactured celebrity image.
Jackie remains at the centre of a Federal Court case against ARN Media over the termination of her reported $100 million contract, following the collapse of her long-running radio partnership with Sandilands.
Court documents, filed as part of Jackie’s statement of claim, outline months of internal tension leading up to the dramatic breakdown of the Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier this year.
According to the filings, Jackie raised concerns about Sandilands’ on-air behaviour with KIIS network management months before the relationship publicly deteriorated during a live broadcast in February.
