Hugh Jackman’s latest social media post is sending the internet into a tailspin, with fans seemingly up in arms over his relationship with Broadway star Sutton Foster.
The Wolverine star, 57, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a sweet snap alongside Foster, 51, while posing in front of a New York City landscape ahead of the Death of Robin Hood premiere, which Jackman stars in.
The couple wore big smiles on their faces for the candid moment, with Jackman putting his arm around his beau and Foster excitedly waving her hand in the air.

However, fans were critical of Jackman and Foster’s relationship in the comments section of the Instagram post, with many claiming the couple look like siblings.
“Weird. They look like brother and sister,” one person wrote, while another penned: “Brother and sister on a date yahoo.”
Others shared negative comments regarding Jackman’s split from Deborra-Lee Furness and accused the leading man and his new girlfriend of being unfaithful.
“Raise your hand if you are a cheater!” one person savagely wrote, while another chimed in: “This is so cringy. Trying to normalise what you did.”
“Sutton gave an award-winning performance in Death of Hugh Jackman’s marriage. Congrats to you both!!” one fan brutally penned.
One person empathised with Furness, writing: “I feel bed for Deb, it is so hard to see you posting all these pics, why not refrain from sticking it in her face. In her situation how hard is it to see this when she feels betrayed.”
Jackman and Foster went public with their romance in January last year, however the timeline of their relationship has long been the subject of speculation, with the couple starring opposite each other in The Music Man on Broadway in 2023, when they were both still married to other people.
Jackman and Furness announced their separation in a joint statement in 2023, marking the end of their 27-year marriage, while Foster filed for divorce from screenwriter Ted Griffin in October 2024.

Jackman went public with Foster just one year after the finalisation of his divorce, and just a couple of months after Foster split from her partner of ten years.
Infidelity rumours began to swirl when Furness released a statement to Daily Mail last year, which read: “My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.”
