Farmer Wants A Wife ‘Villain’ Miranda Has Revealed The Real Reason Why She Went On The Show

Miranda Chopping is undoubtedly the most controversial contestant on this year’s season of Farmer Wants A Wife, which has led many fans to ask the same question: what on earth is she doing on the wholesome reality show?
Besides her assertive personality and regular digs at the other women, the 21-year-old’s full face of makeup and designer labels don’t necessarily scream “I’m ready to pack up my life and move to the farm”.
Well, Miranda is well aware of the online commentary suggesting she’d be more suited for Love Island and has explained to PEDESTRIAN.TV that her appearance on Farmer Wants A Wife actually makes a lot of sense.
“I grew up on a farm just outside of Rockhampton, so I am a country girl at heart,” she revealed.
“I think a lot of people don’t know that, so it’s kind of hard for them to understand why I would choose to go on a dating show for a farmer, but that’s kind of where that all came out.”

Was Miranda cast on Farmer Wants A Wife to cause drama?
Miranda confessed that she never expected she would be chosen to appear on the show, but she had an instant attraction towards Farmer Zac when she read his online bio.
“He seemed very genuine, down to earth, and we had the same sort of values — family-oriented and into sport, things like that,” she detailed.
“So I thought, he’s kind of perfect for me on paper, so I applied and gave it a go, and then obviously got on.”
She added that, despite viewers speculating she was cast on the show purely to start drama with the other contestants, she genuinely wants to find love.
