Kyle Sandilands became overcome with emotion in a new trailer for the upcoming second episode of his new docuseries as he reflected on his challenges since leaving his KIIS FM show in March.
The veteran presenter, 55, was seen wiping tears from his eyes in footage shared on social media, as he watched a clip of a 60 Minutes interview he and his former co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, 51, did in 2020.
‘Did I think we would last 20 years?’ Jackie O is seen asking Kyle in the 60 Minutes interview, as he responds in the Channel Nine clip, ‘Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would even last 20 minutes!’
Jackie O then says some very telling words in the old footage, which make Kyle, who is watching on TV, become overcome with emotion.
‘I always get very nervous you are going to say something that will one day just ruin you. I feel like I always have to talk over him to stop him from going to a place, where he doesn’t get that if you go there, this is going to become a thing,’ Jackie said.
He is then seen quipping in the old footage, ‘F**k it, I say!’ as he joked that he wanted to keep co-hosting The Kyle and Jackie O Show ‘forever and ever’.

Meanwhile, Jackie said that she would like to stay with the show ‘until one of us dies’, to which Kyle cheekily added, ‘That will probably be me!’
The footage then cuts to Kyle today as he makes a heartwarming admission about how his wife Tegan has been supporting him in the months since he and Jackie O’s $100 million contracts were terminated by ARN.
‘My wife Tegan has been great through all of this… which is great. Because if you haven’t got the support in the house, that can break someone, I think,’ Kyle reflected.
The clip was captioned with some bittersweet words: ‘The second ep of At Home With Kyle gets emotional. Streaming Wednesday at 6PM exclusively on KSlive.com.au #kslive #kyleandjackieo.’
Many of Kyle’s followers took to the comments section to praise him for opening up about the difficult topic.
‘Gosh I miss you both together. 24 happy years of my life,’ one person wrote.
‘Omg this hurt me I miss them so much,’ a second added.
‘Kyle is a big teddy bear,’ another chipped in.

It comes after Kyle all but confirmed his relationship with Jackie O will not be bouncing back following their epic fallout.
The former co-hosts reportedly have not seen each other since they had a fiery on-air clash over Jackie’s ‘fixation’ on astrology back in February.
The Kyle & Jackie O Show was subsequently cancelled and both hosts were axed, leading to high-profile legal battles between the duo and their former employer ARN.
Kyle settled his legal dispute, taking home $12.09 million of the original $85 million he sought.
In a teaser for his new docuseries, At Home With Kyle, which follows the behind-the-scenes turmoil and chaos in his life following his shock axing, Kyle vowed to reveal what really happened between the pair.
‘I’ve sort of had to mostly, in my mind, close that chapter,’ he said in the trailer of the series, which was shared on his new business Instagram account, Kyle Sandilands Live.
‘This isn’t a taking sides thing. I’ll always love her. She’s like a sister to me. I wish her the best. The last three months, there is quite a lot to say.’
At Home With Kyle features six episodes filmed by Kyle’s own production company.
His long-term manager, Bruno Bouchet, said the series will present a rarely seen side of his client.
‘It is a very different side to Kyle that you are going to see, a humble Kyle,’ Bruno told The Age.
