AFL star Lachie Neale has made a rare public appearance alongside Emma Field, the woman recently linked to him following the breakdown of his marriage to estranged wife Jules.

The Brisbane Lions midfielder, 33, and Emma were photographed arriving at Brisbane Airport on Sunday after travelling from Melbourne, where the Lions had played the previous evening.

Images contained throughout pages 2–18 of the source show the pair walking through the terminal together, smiling, talking and carrying matching Boost Juice drinks. Neither Lachie nor Emma has publicly confirmed that they are in a relationship.

A relaxed arrival in Brisbane

Lachie appeared comfortable as he moved through the airport in Brisbane Lions clothing, wearing navy shorts, a maroon club top and a yellow cap.

Emma chose an all-black outfit consisting of an oversized hoodie, leggings and sneakers. She carried several bags while walking alongside the AFL player.

The pair appeared animated during their conversation and remained close while collecting their luggage. At one point, Emma was photographed placing a hand on Lachie’s shoulder as they spoke.

Although their appearance could simply have been a shared journey home, the relaxed interaction has added further attention to reports that Lachie has begun a new relationship.

The clues that appeared before the airport sighting

Reports linking Lachie and Emma emerged after she was seen in the stands at the Gabba during Brisbane’s Round 20 match.

She is also believed to have travelled to Perth when the Lions played the West Coast Eagles one week earlier.

Followers have since noticed that Lachie has interacted with several of Emma’s Instagram photographs. He is also reportedly understood to have told friends that he is seeing someone, although no public statement has been made.

Emma reportedly works in advertising and has discussed the possibility of transferring to Melbourne.

Questions surrounding Lachie’s football future

The latest sighting comes as speculation continues over Lachie’s future with the Brisbane Lions.

After seven seasons with the club, the unrestricted free agent is reportedly interested in returning to Victoria next season, with Collingwood considered one possible destination.

A move to Melbourne would mark another significant change for the two-time Brownlow Medal winner following a turbulent period in his personal life.

However, no decision regarding his football future has been publicly confirmed.

Jules begins rebuilding her life in Perth

Lachie and Jules announced their separation in November after she publicly said she had been betrayed “in the most unimaginable way.”

Lachie later accepted responsibility for the marriage breakdown but did not disclose exactly what had happened. He subsequently stepped down as Brisbane co-captain and apologised while acknowledging the consequences of his actions.

The former couple continue to co-parent their children, Piper and Freddie.

Jules has since returned to her hometown of Perth with the children and recently purchased a home there as she begins the next stage of her life.
