The unforgettable Final Test is back on Married At First Sight – with a HUGE twist.
In the ultimate test of trust and security, this year’s brides and grooms would meet their alternate matches in the experiment.
This year however, the experts have removed the element of choice from the Final Test.
Which relationships will be strengthened and who will cross a line?

Laura
Waiting to meet Scott was 27-year-old Laura, a sales coordinator from Queensland, the same state as the groom!
“I’m looking for love and hope he’s my future husband,” she smiled.
James
James, 36, works in sales and marketing. He’s been engaged twice and his dream girl is someone with similar energy to him, someone who likes to go to the gym.
“If they’re a little hard work, that’s fine,” he cheekily admitted.
Crystal
Crystal, 32, is a gym manager from Queensland who has been single for two and a half years.
She auditioned for the experiment with an “open heart” hoping to meet a medium to tall husband, with a “fit body but soft and super kind at the same time.”
She’s Filipino with “a dash of Spanish”, and admitted she does have a passionate fiery side.
Conor
Conor, 31, is a gym owner from Queensland who also works in NDIS Disability Support and apparently “the opposite” of David.
He’s also the second-fastest track and field sprinter in Australia.
He’s looking for someone sporty and motivated and just as much as “a yapper” that he is.
Conor dreams to make the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.
Alissa and Conor
“My husband… he’s very quiet so I get a bit bored,” she confessed to the table.
She felt the fun and banter with Conor.
“He’s very different to David, he’s louder and has a lot to say,” Alissa noticed.
“He’s a handsome man…he has high energy, it’s made me realise even more now I’m lacking these areas in my relationship.”
Chanelle
Chanelle is a 27-year-old business executive from Victoria who manages an education company.
“I’m hoping to meet my future husband to be honest, but also not here to be a homewrecker.”
Her ideal partner “needs to have a presence, is driven and is very secure.”
Taylor
Taylor is a 31-year-old fitness instructor and boxer who describes himself as “an easy-going go with the flow kind of guy.”
He’s looking for someone who loves humour and a dog person.
Stephanie
If he wasn’t matched with Rachel, Steven would’ve found himself with Stephanie, a 31-year-old registered nurse from Queensland.
The bubbly match was happy to hear Steven was in a secure relationship.
Ignatius
Meet, Ignatius a 40-year-old from Sydney who works in advertising.
He has never been married and hoped to find love in the experiment.
Unlucky for Ignatius, Rachel was already happily taken.
Shannon
Filip could have been paired with Shannon.
The tall, blonde confident match is a 37-year-old personal assistant from New South Wales.
