According to the Herald Sun, Neale had recently been courting Hoyle before his latest public appearances with Field.

The report alleges the pair had been dating, although neither Neale nor Hoyle has publicly confirmed that account.

It also claims friends close to Hoyle had viewed and shared text messages said to have been sent by Neale.

One message attributed to the footballer read:

“Best way to put it is that I can tell already that I don’t want to catch up with you just once or twice and I don’t want you to think that’s what I would be like with you.”

The reported message has since become one of the most revealing details in the wider story surrounding Neale’s romantic life.

The report involving Hoyle emerged on Friday night.

Just one day later, Neale was seen with Field during a brunch outing, placing renewed attention on the timeline surrounding the pair.

Field has also appeared at several Brisbane games in recent weeks, including the Lions’ clash with Port Adelaide at the Gabba on July 26 and their match against West Coast in Perth on July 18.

The Herald Sun reported that friends close to her had viewed and shared them, offering a rare glimpse into what may have been unfolding before Neale’s recent appearances with Field.

Amid the renewed attention, Neale’s former partner Jules also drew interest with a cryptic Instagram Story on Saturday night.

She reposted a video from a friend showing a piece of paper being burned, accompanied by the caption “Lionsgate 8.8.8”.

Jules did not explain the post or connect it directly to the latest reports, meaning any link remains speculative.

Another recent claim adds to the attention

The Hoyle report comes just days after another unverified claim involving Neale’s social-media activity.

Australian PGA Tour golfer Jack Wright recently commented on an Instagram report about Neale and Field, claiming Neale had attempted to message his sister.

“Only a week or 2 ago he was trying to slide into my sister’s DMs again after being denied the first time,” Wright wrote.

Neale has not publicly addressed that allegation.

Questions also remain over Neale’s AFL future

Away from the attention surrounding his personal life, Neale’s football future also remains under scrutiny.

He was recently reported to have toured Collingwood’s training facilities, with the club emerging as a possible destination should he leave Brisbane.

Lions coach Chris Fagan later confirmed the visit and said he would have preferred the tour to have taken place at a different time.
