Just weeks after his high-profile departure from Today, Karl Stefanovic appears to be embracing a very different pace of life.

Fresh from an extended European holiday with wife Jasmine and daughter Harper, the veteran broadcaster has been spotted settling back into Sydney — and one relaxed weekend outing offered a glimpse into just how much his daily routine has changed.

A noticeably different look after life at Today

Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine Stefanovic were seen out separately over the weekend after returning home from several weeks in Europe.

Gone were the tailored suits that had become synonymous with his years on breakfast television.

Instead, Karl stepped out in a pair of Ugg boots, shorts, a hoodie and a cap as he climbed out of his HiLux ute to grab a morning coffee, showing off the tan he picked up during the family’s European getaway.

The casual appearance reflected the very different chapter he has entered since leaving Today and the Nine Network in June.

Meanwhile, Jasmine kept things equally low-key, wearing activewear beneath a puffer jacket as she ran errands around Sydney, opting for a natural, makeup-free look.

Jasmine breaks her silence over one persistent rumour

While Jasmine rarely responds to media speculation, she made an exception last week after a magazine claimed Karl had travelled through Europe alone while she remained at home.

Sharing the story on Instagram, she firmly dismissed the report.

“FAKE NEWS!” she wrote.

“I was with him in Europe but thanks for the story time.”

She also criticised the publication for publishing what she described as fabricated stories, making it clear the family had spent the holiday together.

A family holiday after a dramatic career change

The European trip came after Karl’s departure from Nine following the controversy surrounding his podcast interview with British far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

Rather than immediately returning to work, Karl and Jasmine chose to spend time together with six-year-old daughter Harper on Italy’s Amalfi Coast.

Jasmine later shared a series of holiday photographs capturing the family enjoying beach days, boat trips and evenings with friends in the picturesque village of Praiano.

One image showed Karl smiling broadly as Harper sat on his shoulders at the beach, while another captured the couple relaxing side by side under the Italian sun.

The family also joined friends in celebrating a birthday dinner overlooking the coastline before eventually returning to Australia.

Back home — but not entirely away from the spotlight

Since returning, Karl has already resumed some professional commitments.

He was recently seen arriving back in Sydney after travelling to Melbourne, where he interviewed Adrian Portelli and Mick Gatto as part of his new media projects.

Despite no longer fronting Australia’s highest-profile breakfast program, Karl appeared relaxed and in good spirits as he walked through the airport carrying an open notebook.
