Over two big nights our couples will get a glimpse of what married life will look like outside the experiment – and give us a glimpse into their real-life humble abodes.
From Adelaide to the Gold Coast, the couples headed to the destination where they plan to live beyond MAFS.
But not everyone was happy about their potential future home…

Gia and Scott were the first to touch down in Scott’s waterfront pad.
Melbourne-based Gia already has plans to move to the Gold Coast with her daughter when the experiment ends.
But after seeing Scott’s home, the bride was less than impressed …

Outside, Scott showed off his waterside home to Gia, which includes tropical palm tree views and access to a shared tennis court.
“So we can play tennis at night… or in your bikini!” Scott sold her the dream.
They then went inside.

“Oh it’s a bit messy,” Gia laughed as she took her shoes off and entered Scott’s bachelor pad.
If this is messy, we’d hate to know what Gia would think of our apartments!

To the right of the door, Gia scoffed as she saw multiple bike helmets and rubbish scattered on the table.
This was the ‘mess’ she’d been talking about.

Scott had all his best appliances on display. We do love a matching set.
So what will it be – coffee, rice, tea or toast?

In case you forgot about Scott’s waterfront views a nautical décor theme was the perfect reminder!
Peep the wall-mounted anchors and the porthole inspired mirror.

Gia couldn’t quite fathom why Scott had a small rug on top of a larger rug, saying it looked like a “pee pad”.
“It’s to put your feet on it,” Scott replied.

The bride was also quick to question Scott’s taste in décor and “ornaments”.
We’re sure once Gia moves in she’ll add a woman’s touch.

Gia thought the spa in his bedroom was “so random”.
“You can look at the water while you’re in the spa,” Scott replied.
We’re just worried about how close that bedroom carpet is to the bathtub!

Who needs a double bed when you have a double bath!

“It’s definitely not as clean as I thought,” Gia admitted to cameras.
Space was an issue too.
“This wouldn’t be big enough… it’s probably not big enough for what I’m used to,” said Gia who would be moving from a four-bedroom house.
She wondered where her daughter would stay. Certainly not in this room!

“My stuff wouldn’t even fit in that closet,” reacted Gia when she saw the size of Scott’s walk-in robe.
“I have two closets for myself and a whole beauty room full of stuff,” she said (a beauty room that’s decorated in purple and pink!).
Speaking of pink …

Gia found a pink neck pillow stashed among Scott’s things.
“Is it your ex’s or something?” she accused him.
Scott insisted it was his and that he happened to be pink.
“That was a bit of a red flag to me and he told me he’s never had a girl in his house,” Gia said.

Gia’s overall verdict?
“I couldn’t live here,” she told him.
Scott felt Gia was nit-picking and even looking for problems.
“If the roles were reversed and I was in Gia’s house I wouldn’t say anything but nice things,” he told producers.
Rachel and Steven | Central Coast
Steven set sail on an exciting new future with Rachel as he hoped to introduce his Melbourne-based bride to his coastal lifestyle.
“How lucky am I for him to welcome me into this,” she beamed.
Further north, they arrived at Steven’s parent’s holiday home on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

The groom took her out on the boat and showed her his favourite fishing spot.
